SCOTLAND‘S SHAME EMBARRASS US ALL YET AGAIN, AS THE S*N TRIES TO DRAG CELTIC INTO IT

I really wish I didn’t have to write things like this.
It’s Saturday night, there’s football on the telly, and believe me, I wish I didn’t have to once again call out The S*n newspaper on their lies.
But, alas here we are.
Rangers Remind us Why They Are Scotland’s Shame, The S*n Scrambles for Any Link to Celtic
There have been numerous videos floating around online over the past 24 hours of Rangers fans in full-throated, sectarian, racist, anti-Catholic song, completely oblivious to the fact that they are guests in Bilbao, an almost entirely Catholic city.
Their cries of “Bilbao is Spanish!” were also needlessly proactive in a city fiercely proud of its Basque identity.
Scotland' Shame strike again. They really do make it so hard for anyone outside their supporter base to have any sympathy for them whatsoever.
Anyway, The S*n chose to feature a selectively edited video of three “Rangers fans” (no confirmation is given in the report that they were indeed Rangers supporters, though their beer-stained, and every so slightly too small blue attire would suggest they are), being set upon by a much larger group of Athletic Club supporters.
For the avoidance of doubt, I do not condone such violence. Regardless of the provocation, for 20-30 men to give 3 men a kicking is cowardly, and completely out of order.
However, I did some digging and uncovered the full video, which The Sun chose not to show. It showed these “Rangers fans” gesticulating and acting aggressively towards a single, solitary Bilbao fan, which was when the rest of them showed up, and took exception to this behavior.
Play with fire, you’ll get burned, as they say.
The three “Rangers fans” pictured also bore a striking resemblance to three men who, as part of much larger crowd, were seen rampaging through the streets of Bilbao earlier in the day singing proudly about being “up to their knees in Fenian blood”.
The S*n chose not to show that. Again, this is all about staying onside with the established narrative, that being that Rangers fans are always the victims, never the aggressors.
You and I, dear reader, know that such notions are utter nonsense.
Rangers have a fascist, bigoted hardcore to their support, which despite the club’s vehement denials, continue to hold significant sway over the larger fanbase.

Anyway, amidst this extremely one-sided report headlined “Athletic Bil-Brawl”, The S*n also chose to mention the attire of some of the Bilbao fans, despite it being totally irrelevant to the story.
They said of the Athletic Club fans, and I quote: “Most appear to be wearing the red and white of the Spanish side but some are also wearing green and white tops. It’s been suggested that these are Celtic tops.”
Who suggested that they were Celtic tops?
Does The S*n have any evidence whatsoever to back this up?
Sources? Anecdotes? Anything beyond the reporter's personal guesses based on blurry imagery?
No, of course not. That would require The S*n to practice actual, investigative journalism. That would require the barely sentient drones they call reporters to actually employ some critical thinking and research skills.
Even if the fans in question were indeed wearing Celtic tops, their choice of clothing has no relevance whatsoever to the alleged assault that took place.
The S*n doesn’t care about such things. This is, after all, a newspaper with a reading age of 6.
Once again, I give you your occasional reminder. The S*n is the enemy of all Celtic supporters. It is the enemy of all decent, working-class people.
Don’t buy The S*n.
