COULD CELTIC WIN THE LEAGUE AT IBROX OR WILL ABERDEEN DO IT FOR US?

Today’s result now means the earliest Celtic will most likely win the league is the first game after the split.
We won’t know those fixtures for another 10 days or so.
Usually, the final Glasgow Derby is the 2nd or 3rd game after the split.
However, this may change now, with Celtic failing to win at St. Johnstone.
The authorities will be desperate to avoid the scenario of Celtic winning the title at Ibrox.
It is a possibility now though, albeit an unlikely one.
Let's walk through some possible scenarios for the next few weeks.
How Early Could Celtic Win The League?
It’s still technically possible that Celtic could win the league next week, however, we need a favor from Aberdeen.
If Celtic beat Kilmarnock next Saturday, we will be 16 points clear, with 5 games left, however, Rangers would have a game in hand since they don’t play until Sunday.
However, they are away to Aberdeen. Now, Aberdeen have been rank rotten recently, but history shows that Rangers seldom, if ever, get an easy time at Pittodrie.
If Aberdeen win, Celtic are champions. We would be 16 points clear with only 15 left to play for.
There’s every chance Aberdeen could take something from that game.
Likewise, Celtic at home have been dominant this season, the recent Glasgow Derby notwithstanding.

I expect Celtic to beat Kilmarnock comfortably. So, that takes care of itself. But we still need The Dons to help us out.
I personally don’t see Aberdeen beating Rangers next Sunday. A draw is possible, but I think, in all honesty, a win is beyond them.
So, the championship goes for at least one game into the split.
If Rangers beat Aberdeen, which, as poor as the Ibrox Tribute Act have been recently, is the most likely result, then we need to win our next two games.
The last Glasgow Derby will probably come one or two games later.
So, Celtic would probably need to draw and/or lose our next two games (unlikely) and Rangers would need to win both of theirs (even more unlikely) for a title Showdown at Ibrox to become a realistic possibility.
Even then, Celtic probably still need to fail to win another one or two games beyond that.
Ultimately, we won’t know for sure until the fixtures are announced. However, I think at the very least we should expect a “guard of honour” at Ibrox after we win the title.
It’s the right thing to do.
We know they won’t do it, their "staunchness" wont allow it, but they should.
Personally, for maximum zombie tears, I hope Celtic win next week, then Aberdeen skelp them to hand us the title.
We can then rub salt in the wounds with a showpiece display at Ibrox a week or two later, to remind them, and the rest of Scotland why we are Champions.
Water bottles are optional.
