Champions again!
Champions again!

Celtic have won the league. Celtic are Champions. No attempt to downplay this fact matters.

Many will try in the media to cheapen our achievement. But ultimately, this is of no consequence.

Mere bitter, impotent noise from a bunch of cheerleaders who still cannot accept Celtic’s superiority in Scottish football.

Celtic are Champions Because we are the Best, That’s the Simple Fact

A league championship is won over 38 games, not a single weekend. It may have taken longer than we would have liked to get it over the line.

However, the destiny of this season’s Scottish Premiership title has been known for months.

Celtic deserve all the praise we can give. We know we won’t get it in the Scottish media, but that doesn’t matter.

We know we are the strongest team in the country, and our rivals know this too.

Best of all, we know that they know, and we will make sure they don’t forget it.

Brendan Rodgers, and the team he has put on the park have brought Celtic to the brink of yet another treble.

This may be a regular occurrence these days, but it is never something we should ever take for granted.

We haven’t always been at our best, but we have unquestionably been the most consistent team over the entirety of this season.

That’s why we are champions with 4 games to go. That is why we are champions for the 4th straight year.

These are matters of undeniable fact. No number of crayon-crafted editorials in the Rangers-loving press can take away from that.

What is important now is that Celtic keep up the momentum. The Scottish Cup Final has now become the most important game we have left this season.

There’s also the small matter of one last trip to Snake Mountain, to remind the worshippers at the altar of all things staunch of their true place in Scottish football’s hierarchy.

Today isn’t a conclusion, it is the continuation of what is yet another great period of extended success in Celtic’s long, proud and unbroken history.

Enjoy this. We have earned it. And there is still much more to come.

We have concerns about performance, about the manager’s future, about Europe next season. But all that can wait. Today is about celebration, pure, joyous celebration.

We are the Champions.

We are the first team in Scottish history to win 55 legitimate titles.

I look forward to reminding our rivals of that fact at every possible opportunity. And you should too.
