The Legend of Luke Kelly is set to appear in Coatbridge on 14th March 2020 as part of the St Patrick’s Day Festival.
The Legend of Luke Kelly features Chris Kavanagh, who is considered amongst the finest folk and ballad performers on the circuit at present. The show has already appeared twice in The Pavilion Theatre, Glasgow, during 2019, where it attracted 700-strong audiences.
This highly-acclaimed tribute show to the iconic Luke Kelly of The Dubliners makes its inaugural appearance in Scotland, and it promises to be a memorable performance. Featuring the acclaimed vocals of arguably Ireland’s finest ballad voice of today, Chris Kavanagh, this performance will take the audience on a journey through the numerous hit songs and music of the legendary Luke Kelly of The Dubliners.
Having already toured Ireland, mainland Europe and Australia to much acclaim in the past twelve months, this is a folk and ballad concert not to be missed.
Accompanied by some of Ireland’s finest traditional musicians, lead singer, Chris Kavanagh has more than a passing resemblance to Luke, while his singing talent captures the depth and passion of this folk legend.
